PRIMARY PURPOSE:
The role of the Transportation Supervisor is to assist the Director of Maintenance/Transportation in the coordination and administration of the pupil transportation services of the district; to ensure that such services adhere to Texas Education Agency regulations and board policy.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Education/Certification:
.High School Graduate or GED
.Valid Texas Commercial Driver’s License (Class B) with passenger and schoolbus endorsements
.Prior successful experience and/or training in a supervisory position and personnel supervision
Knowledge/Skills:
.General knowledge of vehicles
.Must be familiar with Texas Natural Resource Conservation Commission (TNRCC) rules and regulations concerning petroleum storage tanks
.Proficiency, knowledge with regard to TEA regulations concerning bus routes, bus safety, driver certification and transportation funding. |
