Position Title:               HIGH SCHOOL COUNSELOR

Location:                         Grades 9-12

Salary Range:              Administrative Salary Scale/Minimum Salary: $45,750

Length of Work Year:   10 Month Contract

PRIMARY PURPOSE:

The role of the School Counselor is to provide comprehensive guidance and counseling services which support the overall school program.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Education/Certification:

.Master's degree

.Counselor certification per Texas Education Agency

.Prior successful experience as teacher

Preferred Qualifications:

.Three years teaching experience
